Pastor Spence grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and is a graduate of North Central University in Minneapolis, MN.  He came to South Hills Assembly in 2002 after doing youth ministry in Illinois for 9 years.   He has been married to Julie for 18 years and has two awesome kids, Danielle & Devin. 

Pastor Spence is passionate about reaching students with the life-changing love of Jesus & getting them connected with other believing students.   He challenges students to grow in their faith & honor God in every part of life.   He is also passionate about chocolate chip cookie dough, the Chicago Cubbies, the Minnesota Vikings & getting free  t-shirts!
